CJ and Jenn in Jose Olé

My excuse for not posting anything in a while is that our camera was broke so we couldn't get any new pictures up. We bought a new camera this week so now I can start posting again! Let's do a quick recap of all we're doing down here:

Home-

We just got word that the initial lender we were going with isn't going to work for us so we're in process of interviewing two other ones. We've got a place in mind but we aren't sure we'll get it. We are confident that God has a house for us. We've kind of decided that if we don't find anything we like by summer we'll just find a house to rent (about the same as what we're paying now) with some yard the girls can run around in.

CJ's School

It's going well. Almost my entire class is one or two questions from passing on the practice tests we take for the CST. I'm focusing on test-taking strategies and trying to get them pumped up for passing. I've had two kids bring knives to school- one got expelled, one is just in pre-expulsion. They didn't have any intent of hurting anyone but they still brought a weapon to school so...

Jenn's School

She's doing well and is already at the half-way point for her second quarter and has begun the crazy testing phase that each quarter seems to have where mid-terms lead right into finals. She'll be working late each night studying so she may not be calling too much!

Luna and Stella

Stella is 30 lbs. now (3x the weight she was when we were home for Christmas) and she's still a clumsy puppy. Luna still beats up on her everyday to let her know who's boss. She's a really fun dog but Luna will always be number one! We're looking forward to taking them on their first backpacking trip in the next few weeks.

Wii

Shane talked us into buying a Nintendo Wii. We split the cost and a friend of Shane's Jennifer got us a deal or we couldn't have afforded it. It's a lot of fun. I'll post some pictures later.
