Either we're the worst bloggers ever...

...or we've been extremely busy! I like to think it's the latter! School was wrapping up in June for both of us so Jennifer was busy studying while CJ was closing his classroom down and trying to prep his kids for middle school (there is an old saying that a teacher without children calls his/her students his/her "kids" while a teacher with children calls them his/her "students" and they both treat them accordingly). The day school let out for both Jennifer and CJ they packed car with their gear and their dogs and took off for WA. We were trying to beat baby Biernaski so we were in a rush. We spent a crazy week in WA and ended up meeting Andrea the day we left for San Jose so CJ could take his last (hopefully) credentialling test for CA (if you are a teacher elsewhere wanting to come and teach in CA... DON'T!) on Saturday. We made it down and CJ took his test Saturday and then we took off the next day to go down through LA and pick up Shane and head down to San Diego to spend time with Dad who was down there for work.

Dad met us in LA and we hung out with Shane's fiance, Jennifer, and her family. They are really neat people and then we headed down to San Diego and all stayed in Dad's 1 bedroom apartment. It was cramped but it worked out fine. With 5 people (6 when Jennifer came down from LA to hang out for a couple of days) and the dogs it was an adventure. We found this little park and taught Luna to slide down the slide (she really loved it), it was cute.

After spending a few days in SD we headed back up to San Jose and Jennifer and CJ got ready to fly out to Mazatlan, Mexico.

We were in Mexico for 10 days and really got to relax... finally.

Here's a bunch of pictures from our trips. Jennifer's in school now, Shane's trying to cram as many classes as he can into the next few months so he can start Palmer soon, and CJ is training Stella and trying to get everyone ready to move into a house! Life never stops but God has been so good to us. Please keep us in your prayers and know that we love all of you very, very much.
