We've finally found a house!
After 4 months of looking and CJ spending his entire summer looking we've finally found a place we want to move into. Last night we signed the lease and we're really excited. It's a 3 bedroom 2 bath home with all new appliances and an enclosed back patio. It's got a nice yard for the dogs and a 2 car garage. They are even putting in Pergo floors this week before we move in! It is really close to both of our schools and it's perfect!
The best part about the place is the fact that we instantly clicked with the owners. It was important for us to feel good about the owners- we are hoping to be there until we leave California so we didn't want it to be a grueling 34 months. The owners names are Dan and Rhoda and they are just a few years older than us and they have a 7 month old daughter, Rebecca, who is the cutest kid I think we've ever seen! We met Dan at the house and he explained everything about it and we just kept joking around. Last night we met his wife and their daughter and we're already talking about having them over and they invited us to their housewarming. They are the nicest couple we've met since being in San Jose. We were just chatting with them for hours until finally Rebecca started getting sleepy so they had to go.
Next week is the big final packing and next Friday we move! I don't want to post our address online but please email us and we'll give you our new address! Oh! Since we now have a 3 bedroom ya'll can come down and stay in the guest room! C'mon down!
